We bought our apartment in a Tuscan hill town because it had a generous, but long neglected, terraced garden. This is a largely pictorial story of our garden's evolution.

Looking at a Red Onion
The Gardener grew it, I painted it. He'll cook it, I'll eat it. Isn't life perfect?
Blogger ate the onion(comment) at the other blog so I'll try this one: it's a lovely painting;and if the paper's not worth framing, why not frame the photo?
Dinah - Thank you. That's a good idea to photograph and frame, or if I had a better printer to print on a good paper. On the other hand, I should take a beautiful piece of paper and see if I can overcome my habit of choking (when confronted with good paper or an expensive sketchbook) and paint it again.
